UMOS’ Technology Training, called the One Workforce – TechStars program, provides advanced training in the fields of web development, software application development, cyber-security, and medical coding – meeting the industry demand for a highly skilled workforce in Wisconsin.
For participants, benefits include a flexible learning environment, virtual training options, access to competitive, industry recognized stackable credentialing, an enhanced portfolio for more marketability, as well as direct connection to potential employers.

gBETA is a program of nationally ranked startup accelerator gener8tor. gBETA is a free, seven-week accelerator for early-stage companies with local roots. Each program is capped at five teams, and requires no fees and no equity.

Wisconsin SBDC at UW-Milwaukee is part of a statewide network supporting entrepreneurs and business owners through no-cost, professional, confidential consulting and targeted educational programs. Regional SBDC experts facilitate improvement and growth for small and emerging mid-size companies and help launch successful enterprises.
The award-winning Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce is an organization of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and LGBT-allied businesses, corporations and professionals throughout the state of Wisconsin focused on being a strong pro-fairness business community.
Lubar Enterpreneurship Center – Building an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem on UWM’s campus. UWM Student Startup Challenge is a unique co-curricular program that creates an entrepreneurial culture at UWM by encouraging students to develop their ideas, launch businesses, and gain unique skills that come from the entrepreneurial experience.
Scale Up Milwaukee SPARC – Growth training program for Black-, Hispanic-, and woman-owned businesses with annual revenue under $1M. Our 2022 program is open to all businesses regardless of location!
