COVID-19 Updates. We know that for many concerns around COVID-19, commonly known as coronavirus, are on your mind. According to the most recent information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), for most people, the immediate risk of being exposed to COVID-19 is low. We continue to monitor the most up-to-date information from the CDC and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. As the safety and health of our members and visitors are our top priority, we want to take a moment to let you know what we are doing so that you feel safe and comfortable at MalamaDoe.
As of March 16, 2020, we have:
-Added additional sanitizing measures to our daily cleaning routine throughout all public spaces including using CDC approved disinfectants to wipe down our space. See here for more info.
-We have added more regular cleaning and disinfect the coworking space more frequently during this extra time in need. Special attention is focused on doorknobs, light switches, desks, chairs, and hand railings.
-Placed CDC approved wipes in the conference rooms and cleaning items on my desk.
-Received news that our landlord is cleaning all doors and other areas on a daily basis that are touched regularly and has doubled the amount of cleaning taking place.
-Advised everyone to reduce physical contact
We also encourage all who are feeling ill to refrain from attending any meetings at MalamaDoe. Our member meeting will now be on Zoom.
Many members of MalamaDoe use our space to get away from the noise and chaos in their homes. Here are the steps are recommended that everyone follow to keep our community safe:
-Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol can be used.
-Cover your coughs and sneezes.
-Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
-Clean frequently touched surfaces and objects often.
-Wipe down spaces you have used with the wipes in the conference rooms and cleaning items on my desk.
-Use bathrooms on the third and first floor, as the mail personnel use the bathrooms on the second floor.
I appreciate your cooperation with these items, as I know we want to keep our community safe and healthy.
